Vespa 300GTS super / Triumph Daytona 955i

Postby TimBo on Tue Jun 30, 2009 11:57 am

Has anybody ridden or had any experiance of one of these?

I am seriously thinking of trading my Triumph Daytona 955i for one..

Is anybody interested in buying my one owner from new,Yellow Daytona 955I? I have loads of accessories and it has only done 10000 miles.
04 plate. I am looking for offers over £2500.. It cost over £9500 new..

The Daytona has over 150bhp against 22bhp for the Vespa..

Alternatively, I would love a tidy Vespa Rally 200.. p/x deal??

Yes the 300 GTS is a nice twist and go. Very grunty with comfortable 80mph cruising

I'd go for a Rally 200...

Must be a trend, I sold my yellow Triumph and ended up with a 200 Vespa...

Yesterday I bought the GTS 300.
I loved my biking and have ridden it and others all over europe but the new one I think will be better for all year round commute as although I love riding my Lambretta, winter time is far from ideal on it..

Vespa Rally 200's seem to be rarer than hens teeth.. I used to have a 77 model and it was fantastic, comfortable, old styling, reliable and FAST!

And there was I hoping to see you on a nice Rally 200 as well. Never mind. Have fun on the GTS300 - it should certainly get you from A to B quickly although you won't get the admiration from others, or the thrills yourself, of riding a truely great classic machine. Excellent choice for winter riding though.
